Testimony of Healing

On June 21st 1990 while on my job, I fell about six feet, head first on concrete. I had a concussion, neck injury, both shoulders were hurt, my left elbow was broke, and my back was broke. I went a year with the company doctor telling me that my back was hurting from muscle pain caused from the fall. In 1991, one morning about 3:00am I woke up with severe pain in my legs and back. I could barely move. They sent me to a specialist and they began to run test on me. When the milligram was finished the doctor came to me and told me I had a broke back. He said it was miracle I was not paralyzed. I then had to ware a brace to see if surgery would help me at all. The reason for the brace was it had been so long he didn’t know if the surgery could help repair my back. The brace helped some and the doctors put still plates in my back and removed some disc and did some bone fusion. The surgery helped my pain some and then after a short time I began to hurt worse again. The pain got so bad that I was just setting in a recliner and taking hands full of pain pills. The insurance company sent me to several rehab clinics to try to help the pain and get me back to doing things, but they failed, I just became worse. My doctor sent me to Sport South, Health South Pain management Center in Birmingham Alabama. The doctors there gave me nerve blocks, which helped a very short time. They then put an epidural pump in my side that a tube runs around my side to my spine where it is inserted into my spine. This pump put a strong narcotic in my spine around the clock twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks of the year. The pump helped my pain so I could live without staying in the house all the time, but it did not stop the pain. I still had to take medication by mouth and I had to have nerve blocks. I was taking one to two Lortab 7.5 three times a day, three Flexeril a day and nine Neurontin 300mg a day. I was still in pain and sometimes I was in such pain that I could not get out of the house.
In a Benny Hinn Crusade, in Atlanta Georgia, in 2001, God healed me from my pain. I was instantly healed from my pain as I was worshiping God standing on the floor. I fell out under the power of God and He delivered me from the pain. I went to my doctors at Health South and ask them to take the pump out of me. They told me that if I was taken off the medication at once I could not survive the withdrawals. They started slowly taking me off the medication. I was instantly delivered from all the drugs I was taking by mouth. I have never taken any of the drugs by mouth again, and I had no withdrawals from them. In the last week of January 2002 the tube in my spine kinked off, putting me in withdrawals from the medication. They went in and put a new tube in my spine.
Six days later I woke up with my bed and me wet all over. I didn’t know what was happening. I had a terrible spinal headache, and I knew what it was from. It was a spinal headache and spinal fluid was running out the incision in my back. My wife rushed me to Birmingham Alabama and the doctors told me I had to have surgery again and repair a leak in my spine. While laying waiting to go into surgery I told God, I was tired of having that medication going into my spine and He had healed me from pain, and I ask Him to take me off the medication and fix the leak in my spine. My headache stopped instantly. When the doctor came into my room after the surgery he told me he did not understand what happened but there was no fluid in my back and nothing was wrong in my back when he opened me up. They then filled the pump up with 18cc of medication and one month later I went to have it filled up again. After a month there were usually about 2cc’s left in the pump. When the nurse was taking the leftover medication out of the pump she ask me how I had been. She asked me if I had had any withdrawals. I told her I felt fine. The nurse told me to look and when I did there were 18cc of medication in the syringe, she had taken out all that she had put in one month before. The pump was working fine and nothing was wrong. God had stopped the medication from going into my spine, and He had delivered me from the medication with no withdrawals. They turned the pump off and the doctor ask me not to have it taken out for a while because he said if it was taken out and I begin to hurt I could not get another one. But I am healed and I will never have pain again. The pump has been taken out of me and I am pain free and drug free.
God gets all the Glory!! Jesus’ body was broken for our healing. I now am serving God as a Healing Evangelist. I also have opened a church called Shining Light Ministries “THE HEALING CENTER” in Albertville Alabama. Many have been healed by God in the services I do. I stand as a living testimony of God’s grace and Power.
